Letter to editor

Dear Jani:

I hope this email finds you well.  I also hope by now, family members have finally recuperated from funeral-related tasks.

By the way, sincere thanks to you and Ronaldo Reyes for the article/coverage about me.  You didn’t have to do it, but I sure do appreciate the recognition.  I’ll probably post my comments online at the right opportunity, if you don’t mind.

You know, I have been reading commentators’ posts especially under the articles that cover political issues.  There are quite a lot of interesting personalities exchanging viewpoints, and sometimes personally attacking each other.  Most of the times, ironically, I found them amusing as they pick on each other’s political preferences.  Many of them appear to be just about tired of Mian and Oging.

I suspect that you are continually monitoring your web site as far as postings and their respective contexts.  The link below is really getting a little too hot where certain individuals are resorting to the use of fully-spelled profanities like “fucking”.  Well, how you, Eyean or any administrator control postings is really none of my business, and please don’t take me wrong.  But I think your site can maintain a professional flair if commentators are restricted from including profanities in their verbiage.  Conversely, your site has rapidly picked up viewership especially now that we are at the advent of the 2010 elections.  Quite impressive, I might say!  You are just about to put Tony Reyes’ SLT to its knees.  Even the SLT has changed a bit their format to emulate yours.  Hmm. a form of a flattery on your part.

I am projecting that your site will prevail over SLT.  You have a good webmaster, and with his artistic craft, your site will always maintain professional aesthetics and format.  More power to you. Bay.

Catch you later…

I hate to disappoint those who think that Mr. Jani Arnaiz (and this media) is not pro-Mercado for I just heard it through the grapevine that he surely is.

So, I welcome Jani to discredit my statements here by proving that indeed he and this media outlet is truly fair, fearless and independent.

Rest assured that I am not starting a “rumor control” here, but merely re-stating a fact that I successfully intercepted from credible sources who happen to be from within the circle of associates of the Mercado brothers.

Just as when I thought that we really have an independent media devoid of influences from our local politicos. I guess I was wrong. :-(

BTW, I also heard that Boy Panelo of Tuburan got bought by Mian Mercado. Hmmm… the Fireflies group (Boy Panelo, Joe Mancera, Alex Garciano, Fankie Lim, etc.) now has become pro-Mercado? Wow… Money talks…

last march my husband and i went to london for a week relaxing. one morning, while having breakfast, they`re were 2 young couple near our table. we engaged into conversation. the man mentioned that he works as a political analyst. i took the chance, asking him about the philippine politics. he said; “philippines is one of the most corrupt country in the world and because of the huge corruption committed by it`s own government, it is for sure, that your country needs an honest person who can lead your country and that person is NOYNOY together with his vice president”.
