Erap campaigns for the Codilla’s

ORMOC CITY – Former President Joseph “Erap“ Estrada of Puwersa ng Masang Pilipino and PDP Laban party of the United Opposition have endorsed the candidacies of Lakas-Kampi party here in the fourth district.

Erap, his vice president Jojo Binay and six senatoriables Jinggoy Estrada, Kit Tatad, Rodolfo Plaza, JV Bautista, Jun Lozada and Johnny Enrile and their campaign manager Ernie Maceda, made a quick sortie in Kananga, Leyte, 22 km north of the city on April 13.

Erap’s party arrived on choppers in Kananga Central School at 11:00 in the morning from Villaba, Leyte.

They were met by Ormoc city council bet Agapito “Yongyong” Pongos, Erap’s former staff when he was

Still President and Kananga vice mayor Macario Lumangtad.

Kanangahanons young and old alike practically mobbed Erap and shook his hands, who in turn showered the people with candies.

Along the streets more people braved the scorching heat to take a glimpse of him and his son Jinggoy, who are both movie idols.

Each of the candidates gave their speeches and indorsed administration candidates Mayor Elmer “Eming” Codilla and his brother congressional bet Winnie Codilla for the local candidates.  Mayor Eming though was not present because he was in Manila for an official business.

Erap’s party has no candidates in the locality.

After an hour Erap and his party left for Biliran.
